Christina Hall Shares ‘Confident, Carefree’ Glam amid Josh Hall Divorce

Christina Hall is feeling good!

On Saturday, Aug. 31, the Christina on the Coast star, 41, got all glammed up in a joint Instagram post shared with her makeup artist, Julia Gonzales.

Showing off a glowy look, the caption read, “It’s giving confident and carefree — because when the glam is on point, so is the energy 💫.”

The post comes over a month after Christina’s husband of nearly three years Josh Hall filed for divorce.

Shortly after Josh’s filing, Gonzales showed off another makeup look she did on Hall in a joint Instagram post, which she cryptically captioned, “If you only knew what we laugh about….#justbreathe.”

Josh, 43, filed for divorce from Christina on July 16. According to documents obtained by PEOPLE, he filed for a dissolution of marriage due to “irreconcilable differences,” and listed the pair’s official date of separation as July 8, 2024.

The document also states that Josh is requesting spousal support from Christina. 

On July 24, Christina responded with a filing of her own, which laid out all the real estate at stake in the split — and requested neither party be allowed to receive spousal support.

After news of the divorce first broke, a source told PEOPLE that the former couple — who officially tied the knot on Oct. 6, 2021 — “had issues in the marriage for quite some time.”

In addition to the cryptic posts Gonzales shared following Josh’s filing, Christina also addressed the divorce more directly, sharing a statement about “an insecure man with a large ego” a day after Josh returned to social media.

“Over here waiting for the typical Hired PR rep speech of ‘how I was blind-sided and how I’m working on myself and taking time to heal at her ranch,” she wrote on a black screen posted to her Instagram Stories. “Meanwhile, I’m over here not as nice and quiet as I used to be.”

In another post, she continued, “I have worked my ass off to build this life for myself and my children and anyone who would try and take what they do not deserve / what they did NOT work for should be ashamed.”

“An insecure man with a large ego can sure try and derail you- but, ‘still i rise’…,” Christina added. “For those that aren’t aware… divorces do not happen overnight… & there is always a breaking point. This one is personal.”

Josh spoke out about the divorce on Aug. 2, writing on Instagram that he prefers “privacy, especially during something as life-changing as a divorce I did not ask for.”

“I will not publicly badmouth anyone as people have families, friends and others who respect and love them,” he continued. “Unfortunately, the internet is forever. We are real humans, this is our life and I am not here to entertain people I don’t know with my private matters. Those details will be handled fairly behind closed doors with our respective counsels in due time.”

“Those who know each of us, know who we are,” Josh concluded the message.

Christina’s first marriage was to Tarek El Moussa, with whom she shares daughter Taylor, 13, and son Brayden, 8. Her second marriage was to Ant Anstead, with whom she shares with son Hudson, 4.

In July, multiple sources confirmed to PEOPLE that Christina had returned to filming her show The Flip Off — in which Christina and Josh were set to compete in renovating competitions against El Moussa and his new wife, Selling Sunset alum Heather El Moussa — without Josh.
