Chris Hemsworth is reportedly in negotiations to take on the iconic role of Prince Charming in Disney’s forthcoming film. The acclaimed actor, known for his portrayal of Thor, is set to embody this beloved fairy tale character, who has appeared in numerous classic stories including Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, and Rapunzel.

As reported by industry insiders, Hemsworth has engaged in discussions regarding the project, which will be directed by Paul King, recognized for his work on the upcoming “Wonka.” King will also co-write the screenplay alongside Simon Farnaby and Jon Croker. While specific plot details are still under wraps, it remains unclear whether the film will feature animation or live-action elements.

Historically, Prince Charming has been depicted as a romantic interest for Disney princesses, first introduced to audiences in Disney’s 1950 animated film “Cinderella.” However, sources indicate that this new adaptation will not be directly linked to the classic version.

In addition to this exciting project, Hemsworth is set to star in “Crime 101,” an Amazon MGM Studios production featuring a stellar cast that includes Halle Berry, Mark Ruffalo, and Barry Keoghan. This film, based on Don Winslow’s 2021 short story, revolves around a series of unsolved high-profile jewelry heists along the Pacific Coast Highway. Filming for “Crime 101” is scheduled to begin in November, with Hemsworth also serving as a producer alongside Tim Bevan and Eric Fellner from Working Title.

Fans of both Hemsworth and Disney will be eagerly awaiting more details about his potential role as Prince Charming, as well as updates on his upcoming projects.
